I came to Manhattan in the fall of 1998 after being hired as the Special Education teacher for K-8.  I attended Montana State University-Billings where I received a degree in elementary education and special education.  I completed my Master's degree in Literacy from Lesley University.  My husband and I purchased a home in Manhattan twelve years ago.  We added a future "Tiger" to our family--our son was born on my birthday.  The close relationships among the staff make Manhattan Schools a wonderful place to work and we enjoy being part of this caring community.  I am an avid Tiger and MSU Bobcat fan, an active member of PTO, a sponsor of Manhattan Earth Shuttle, and help out with the 6-8 After School Study Hall.  My favorite time is the time I spend with my husband, son, and other family members.  I also enjoy quilting, reading, and being with my friends.
