My name is Valerie Todd and I am teaching High School science. I am currently teaching Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Physical Science and Environmental Science. I have been here for six years and have enjoyed my time here at Manhattan. My grandmother, father, uncles, and cousins all went to school here. I graduated from Belgrade High School. From there I went to Montana State University where I majored in Biology and General Science Broadfield. In 2008 I received my M.Ed in Adult and Higher Education with an Emphasis in Student Affairs. I have 18 years of working in a research laboratory, mostly in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. I have always worked on my family ranch in the Springhill area. I spend my summers with my parents moving sprinkler pipe. I have been married for 21 years and have a son Sam who is a Junior at Manhattan High School. My favorite day is Monday. This is because I get to see all of my students from the weekend. Manhattan has many wonderful staff members and awesome kids. I am so lucky to have a job which I love.
